Our Memberships

Energy Resources Aotearoa is proud to belong to a number of professional bodies.

We are proud to hold Observer Status with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This gives us the right to attend important events such as Conference of the Parties (COP) events.  

We are a member of the IPIECA - the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues.

We are also a member of BusinessNZ’s Affiliated Industries Group (AIG), made up of over 60 national industry associations together comprising tens of thousands of enterprises.

We are an associate member of APPEA, the peak national body representing Australia’s upstream oil and gas exploration and production industry.

We also belong to the International Gas Union, a global non-profit advocacy group.
